Letting Terms and Conditions

Users who wish to let Dalneigh Scout Hall must agree to the following:

The building, grounds and car park are non-smoking areas

  • Groups are responsible for ensuring their own safety/safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
  • Lets for main hall, training room or meeting room are separate.  Booking of 1 does not give access to the other areas without prior agreement
  • Start / finish times must include set up and cleaning time
  • All heaters & lights must be switched off before departure
  • An issues or damages must be reported as soon as possible to 07743 877890 or bookings@scoutsinverness.org.uk.  INBS DSC reserves the right to charge for the cost of repair (or replacement) of damaged fixtures & fittings
  • The building must be left clean & tidy.  Rubbish bins should be emptied and all rubbish should be taken away with you. Please do not use the external wheelie bins.  Please ensure any kitchen items used are washed, dried and returned to the correct cupboards
  • The building must only be used for the purpose stated on the booking form
  • There is no storage space available within the building
  • No additional keys may be cut, and all keys issued must be returned within 24 hours of end of the let


  • You must notify bookings email of any dates you will not be using the building otherwise full charges will apply
  • Either party can terminate this agreement with 1 months’ notice
  • We will give at least 2 weeks’ notice of any dates when the building will not be available
