Young People
Scouts is a place to have fun, make friends, learn skills and have the kind of adventures you cannot have anywhere else. Depending on age, young people join Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers or Network.
Everyone joins through one district waiting list. You only fill it in once, and every group in the district can see it.
Adult Volunteers
You do not need any previous experience, and you do not need to have been a Scout yourself. How much time you give is up to you - for many roles it is a couple of hours a month. Training is provided, and there are externally recognised qualifications if you want them.
